# Robinhood tokenized stocks explained

Understand Robinhood Stock Tokens on Robinhood Chain, how they differ from Classic Stock Tokens, and what a separate stock-paired coin represents.

**A stock in a Robinhood brokerage account, a Classic Stock Token, and a Stock Token on Robinhood Chain are different products.** The name of the company does not tell you which one you hold.

Reviewed September 14, 2026. Consult the current product documents and jurisdiction restrictions for the exact instrument.

## Stock Tokens on Robinhood Chain

Robinhood's Chain documentation identifies the issuer as Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited, or RHJ. It describes the instruments as tokenized debt securities providing economic exposure to referenced securities. They do not give holders legal or beneficial rights in the underlying shares or against the issuer of those shares.

The onchain instruments use ERC-20 contracts. A contract address and network identify a particular token; neither the logo nor the company ticker is sufficient. Match them against the [official contract list](https://docs.robinhood.com/chain/contracts/) and read the [RHJ product documents](https://docs.robinhood.com/rhj/).

## Classic Stock Tokens are a separate product

Robinhood's EU support documentation describes Classic Stock Tokens as derivative contracts whose price is linked to a referenced security. They are distinct from owning that security and from holding a transferable token on Robinhood Chain.

Do not assume instructions for moving an onchain token also apply to a Classic position inside the Robinhood app. Check the product name, the account or wallet where it is held, and the applicable terms.

Read [About Classic Stock Tokens](https://robinhood.com/eu/en/support/articles/about-stock-tokens/) for the current product-specific explanation.

## Trading windows and corporate actions

The Chain documentation distinguishes secondary onchain trading from primary minting and burning. End users may trade existing tokens outside the tokenization window, but that does not guarantee available liquidity or an executable price.

Corporate actions use a multiplier rather than simply changing the raw token balance. The documented oracle incorporates that multiplier. Builders should follow the issuer's current interfaces and price-feed guidance rather than treating one raw token as permanently equivalent to one share.

The [Stock Tokens overview](https://docs.robinhood.com/chain/stock-tokens/) explains these mechanics. Issuer eligibility restrictions still apply when an asset is held onchain.

## What a stock-paired coin means in Feel.cash

Feel.cash can use a supported stock token as the other asset in a community coin's liquidity pool. The community coin has its own supply, identity, demand, and pool exchange rate. It is not issued by RHJ merely because its pool contains an RHJ token.

Start with the [Feel.cash stock catalog](/stocks/catalog.md), check the selected network and token, and review the action currently offered. A listed company does not mean every representation can be traded or used for a launch.

For the pricing relationship, read [how stock pairings work](/stocks/stock-pairings.md). For the product flow, see [Base and Robinhood Chain](/launch/chains.md) and [trading](/use-feel.cash/trading.md).
