# Creator Fees

See how Creator Fees work on Feel.cash, how they settle into Cash, and how choosing holder rewards changes who receives the fee allocation.

**Creator fees, settled in Cash.**

For the standard creator-recipient configuration, creators receive **85 basis points — 0.85% — of completed buy and sell volume that pays the trading fee**. This page describes the default Cash payout flow on Base and Robinhood Chain. Solana coins have [different rates](#solana).

When the **Who earns them** switch is available at launch, select **Me** for Creator Fees or **Holders** to direct the entire 0.85% share of trading volume to eligible holders instead. In holder mode, the creator receives **no Creator Fees**. A creator who holds the coin can still earn as a holder under the same eligibility rules. The supported payout asset is a separate choice; stock payouts to holders are [Holder Stock Rewards](/stocks/holder-stock-rewards.md). [IPOD](/stocks/holder-stock-rewards.md#showcase-ipod) has a specific transitional exception that combines a separate creator payment with Holder Stock Rewards; it does not use the standard creator-only split below.

| Creator Fee | Value |
| -------------- | ------------------------------------------------: |
| Effective rate | 85 bps |
| Percentage | 0.85% |
| Applies to | Completed buys and sells that pay the trading fee |
| Creator payout | 100% to your Cash balance |

For example, $10,000 of completed combined buy and sell volume produces $85 in Creator Fees at the standard rate. The share comes from the coin's trading fee; Feel.cash does not add another creator charge on top. Reverted transactions and expired or cancelled quotes produce no volume or fees.

## Choose a custom creator fee

The **Creator fee** row in the launch form keeps the standard **0.85%** or sets a **custom** rate from **0.86% to 3%** of trading volume. A higher creator fee raises the coin's [trading fee](/economics/fees.md#custom-creator-fee): at 3%, traders pay 4% in total.

| Creator fee | Trading fee | Creator Fees on $10,000 of volume |
| ---------------: | ----------: | --------------------------------: |
| 0.85% (standard) | 1.50% | $85 |
| 1.50% | 2.26% | $150 |
| 2.00% | 2.84% | $200 |
| 3.00% | 4.00% | $300 |

* The rate is fixed at launch and cannot be changed later.
* A custom rate requires a **developer buy of at least $100**.
* It applies to whoever earns the creator fee — you, holders, or a selected X account.
* It is not available on Solana or for IPOD pairings.

Traders see it on the coin page, where the trading fee is marked **Higher creator fees**.

## From Every Pair to Cash

Feel.cash handles the settlement flow:

1. Trading fees accrue in the assets used by the pool.
2. Feel.cash collects the creator's share from both sides of the pair: the launched coin and its paired asset.
3. Those assets are converted to Cash.
4. The creator receives **100% of their 85 bps share in Cash**.

The paired asset can be a native market asset or a supported tokenized stock pairing. The same flow applies when the market is on Robinhood Chain or Arc. Creators do not need to collect either asset, swap it, bridge it, or manage settlement themselves.

On Arc, a coin paired with EURC or cirBTC can pay the creator in that asset instead. [Arc pairings](/launch/chains.md#arc-pairings)

## Automatic settlement and claim

The system targets a daily settlement cadence when balances, route minimums, and chain conditions allow it. Creators can also claim an eligible available balance from the product.

Small balances may remain pending until they are economical to route. They continue to accrue rather than disappearing.

### Creator Fees for IPOD pairings

The standard Cash flow above does not apply to [IPOD-paired coins](/launch/ipod-pairings.md). Their creator allocation is 0.5% of standard fee-paying volume and is paid in IPOD. The other 0.5% funds IPOD buybacks.

## Solana

On Solana the creator share is **0.50% of volume while the coin is on its bonding curve and 0.75% after graduation**. The rate cannot be customized.

Settlement works the same way: Feel.cash collects the creator's share from the pair, converts it, and delivers it to your Cash balance. Small amounts wait until they are economical to route.

## Balance states

* **Accrued:** estimated fees produced by trading.
* **Available:** collected and eligible for settlement or claim.
* **Pending:** waiting for or moving through conversion and settlement.
* **Claimed:** paid into the creator's Cash balance.

Only the final transfer into Cash is a settled payout. Estimates can lag or change while source assets are collected and converted.

Creator Fees depend on real trading activity and are never guaranteed income.
